Dennis is a native of West Virginia and studied landscape architecture at West Virginia University and The Gloucester School of Arts and Technology in Gloucester, England. A summer internship in 1982 with a design/build firm in Hilton Head Island, SC, turned into an eight year love affair with coastal living and allowed Dennis to build on his solid foundation of presentation graphics, plant materials and landscape design and construction knowledge.

Dennis joined Great Falls Landscapes, Inc. in the spring of ’94 as a Designer and Project Manager. His ability to manage numerous projects from conception to successful completion make him an invaluable member of the GFL Team. In his spare time, he enjoys camping, kayaking, gardening, travel, photography, writing and drawing. Dennis is the author of Slow Dance with a Dead Man (Writer’s Club Press, 2000), and lives in Oakton, VA with his partner of 20 years and their Siamese cat, Wrex.
